Brian HermanBrian Herman was born and raised in Leawood, Kansas. After graduating from the Pembroke Hill School, he pursued his passion for baseball at the University of Redlands where he played with the Varsity team. Following his Freshman year (and some unfortunate injuries), Brian transferred to Emory University in Atlanta, GA, where he graduated with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology.

During his time at Emory, Brian was fortunate enough to have some unique research opportunities. As an undergrad, he spent two years doing behavioral and cognitive research with Capuchin monkeys at the Yerkes National Primate Research Center. After graduating, he got a job in the Neurology Department of Emory’s Medical School, where he worked on different studies for Strokes, Parkinson’s Disease, and Alzheimer’s Disease. Brian is currently a student at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.

Brian has since moved back to the Kansas City area and is planning on attending medical school within the next few years. When he’s not staying active playing sports or doing activities outside, he loves playing with his dog Maggie, watching movies, and spending time with his friends and family.

Brian is available on Sundays from 9AM-Noon at the Leawood Office or the Mission Office.
