Jennifer grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Lee’s Summit North High School. During that time, she earned an International Baccalaureate diploma and was selected to the Missouri All-State Band.
Jennifer attended Truman State University for undergrad, where she completed a B.S. in Biology with minors in Spanish and Psychology. After working awhile, she decided to complete a Master of Public Health degree because of her interest in statistics and the interaction between policy and health status. Finally, during her last semester of graduate school, she signed up for the June 2015 LSAT exam. She started law school at UMKC in August 2016 and will graduate in May 2019. She currently works for a commercial litigation firm in Mission Woods and serves as a staff member for the UMKC Law Review journal.
Jennifer caught the travel bug early in life after participating in a high school exchange program to Monterrey, Mexico. She has completed several study abroad curricula, most recently attending Peking University in Beijing, China. Her bucket list includes visiting every continent — four down, three to go! Most of her limited free time is spent sleeping or finding an excuse to be outdoors. Someday, she’ll have time for leisure reading. Maybe when she retires.
Jennifer is currently a Classroom Instructor who tutors at our Mission Office as well as a tutor for the LSAT.
