The Score You Need. The Tutors Who Can Get You There.

Get Smarter Prep is a Kansas City ACT, SAT, and college counseling company serving families since 2006. Our tutors must score in the top 1% on each section of the exam before they teach, and every student gets a customized plan built around their scores and target schools—not a one-size program.

After nearly 20 years of local test prep, we know what raises scores and what doesn’t, so the time you spend with GSP is designed to be a smart investment for your family.

The best place to start is with a Free, In-Person Practice Test to establish a baseline score.

What Our Parents & Students Say

"This is our second time using Get Smarter Prep, and we saw a 3-point raise in ACT score. Easy to schedule around busy high school schedule and he never complained about going."

"My daughter attended classes about 3x/week from Jan-April. She increased her score by 7 points from the first practice test in January to the real test in April! We couldn't be happier! The teachers and staff were amazing, very communicative and helpful. We would highly recommend this company to any kiddo looking to increase their ACT score."

"Get Smarter Prep helped me improve my score by 6 points!! All of their instructors are so nice and encouraging and the class materials helped tremendously!"

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Get Smarter Prep! Audrey was AMAZING with our daughter. We honestly couldn’t recommend Get Smarter Prep more highly. A huge THANK YOU to Caleb and especially Audrey for sticking with our daughter, challenging her, encouraging her, and helping her get ready for the ACT.
