William “Boomer” Jenkins was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. After graduation from Lutheran High School of Kansas City (as valedictorian, star athlete, Student Council President, etc…. he was a big deal), he attended Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. At Truman, Boomer studied Exercise Science with a Sport and Recreation Management concentration. He served in various leadership roles in the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity and was involved in other organizations as well.
After graduating from Truman, Boomer chose to continue his schooling at Wichita State University pursuing a Master’s in Sport Management. Currently, he works for Sporting Kansas City. Outside of school and work, he enjoys playing golf (real and miniature), watching sports, knowing random facts about random topics and most of all, napping.
